The Winona Adult Literacy Program is now holding classes at Central School. 
Join us!  The program offers classes in GED preparation, Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English as Second Language.  Classes are held at Central School, 317 Market Street 


2016-2017 Schedule:

ESL, GED & ABE Classes:
AM Class: Mondays-Thursdays 8:30am - 11:30am
​PM Class: Mondays & Wednesdays 6:00pm - 8:00 p.m

All classes meet at Central School - 317 Market Street, Winona, MN.  Classes start on the following days throughout the school year:

2016: Sept. 12, Oct. 24, and Dec. 5
2017: Jan. 23, Mar. 13, May 1

Mondays & Wednesdays  6:00pm-8:00pm
June 12-28 and July 10-26 (No classes the week of the 4th of July)

Note:  Childcare is available on a limited basis for children ages infant - grade 6 is available on-site. Please call 507-494-0900 if you need childcare.


Testing is held at MN SE Technical. All testing is done on a computer.
 The cost of testing is $120
Registration and payment for the GED test battery is done online at

CSI (College Success Initiative), located at MN SE Technical, can help you get ready for
post-secondary education.
